Festival

The Tinchurin Theater has been holding a republican festival since 1991. It attracts professional Tatar troupes from various Russian regions. The festival is held once every two years, at the end of March, ending on the International Theater Day - the 27th. Actors from different cities have the opportunity to show their productions and see the performances of other troupes. This festival is a holiday not only for artists, but also for the audience. Where else can they see so many different productions at once? In 1998, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to closethis festival and instead of it to hold another - the Turkic peoples. This continued until 2012. But that year the festival returned again. Then it was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Karim Tinchurin. In 2014, the festival went international.
