United by a common misfortune
Let's remember the summary together. "Polesye Robinsons" is a story about the amazing adventures of two young people, Viktor and Miron. They are very different in character and preferences, however, even in a difficult situation, the guys remain true friends, ready to help at any moment.
The book "Polesye Robinsons" is a kind of encyclopedia of flora and fauna. Victor is interested in fauna and everything connected with it, while Miron prefers botany. The guys are completely different, nevertheless they complement each other. Miron and Victor are like two poles, suchdistant, but at the same time, the existence of one without the other is impossible. It is in a critical situation that their true nature is revealed, both are capable of true friendship.
The circumstances in which the guys fell into really turned out to be extraordinary. Boys dreaming of sea voyages and chasing exotic animals, in fact, did not go beyond the threshold of their local history museum. Their theoretical knowledge is extensive, but their practical skills are minimal - that's the problem.
How did it all start? This will tell a brief summary. "Polesye Robinsons" is a book worthy of being read by every teenager.
The ill-fated boat
The adventures of young men begin with the fact that they find themselves on the lake during the spring flood. The comrades are sailing on some kind of boat, which all the time strives to capsize. The first time, Miron and Viktor were very lucky, they escaped with only a slight fright, when the shuttle suddenly tilted sideways and scooped up some water inside. For the second time, luck turned away from them. The boat got into a whirlpool, both fell into the water, and the shuttle itself swam away with the flow.
What happened next? You will learn about it by reading the summary. Polissya Robinsons will teach you how to behave in extreme conditions.
So, Victor and Miron are forced to swim to the shore in wet clothes, which is not as easy as it seems at first glance. After a hard struggle with the lake, they finally find themselves on the shore. Exhausted and frozen, the guys fall exhausted to the warm and dry ground. Coming to my senses andafter resting a little, the young men inspect their pockets. It turns out that they still have a crust of bread, some tobacco and four wet matches in the box. The guys decide to be content with what they have and stop for the night.
First night
Viktor and Miron find a place for themselves among the roots, cover their entire rookery with dry leaves and go to bed. However, it is impossible to fall asleep, the guys are very cold. And then Victor comes up with the idea of how to keep warm. He challenges Miron to fight. After several minutes of vigorous struggle, both lay down again and fell asleep. A sharp cry woke them up. It turned out that the eagle owl caught a hare. The youths were lucky enough to capture them both.
The guys are trying to make fire again. However, they suffer another setback. Victor and Myron find themselves back in their hole between the roots, and after trying so hard to sleep, both of them finally fall asleep.
"Polesie Robinsons": a short guide to survival on a desert island
Waking up in the morning, the guys decide to do their best and finally start a fire. The surviving matches were completely unusable. After several hours of intense efforts, the long-awaited fire finally appeared.
Now the travelers have another problem: there is nothing to butcher the hare. Using their own ingenuity, the guys emerge victorious from this situation as well.
Hunting and home
Miron and Viktor go to the forest to get their own food. And here again, the knowledge gained earlier comes to their aid. They arefind a hollow of a squirrel full of nuts, then some mushrooms. After a successful sortie, the guys, satisfied, are taken to the construction of housing. In this case, our Polissya Robinsons succeed and build an excellent hut.
At the end of the day, they come up with the idea to fish with the shirt. And then they make a kind of garden. As a result, they are not in danger of dying of hunger.
Island life
Day after day, the guys gradually get used to and even meet dangerous wild animals such as a wild boar, a snake and a bear. They use the found hedgehog as a weapon, the snake - for catching black grouse, and the turtle - as dishes. Throughout their life on the island, the guys get to know the animals and plants that inhabit the woodland, and learn how to make dishes from clay.
After an unsuccessful attempt to get off the island, the guys return to their former place of residence again. The writer Yanka Mavr will tell you in his work about whether they gave up. "Polesye Robinsons" - a story filled with many obstacles, but with a happy ending.
Man. One more try
Returning, the young men suddenly find a cigarette butt. Tormented by doubts, they decide to be on the lookout.
The guys are trying to get off the island again and again. However, their attempts are unsuccessful.
Forced to live in Polissya, Victor and Miron meet animals every day, which they really wanted to see before. For example, they get acquainted with a family of beavers. The guys are watching their lives with great awe and curiosity.
An unexpected meeting
Suddenly two men with guns appear on the island. From their conversation, our heroes learn that the bandits want to kill them, since in this place they have a warehouse of illegal things, in addition, they are saboteurs. The smugglers need to leave the island for two weeks, after which they promise to return and find out exactly what happened to Viktor and Miron.
The most interesting moments will tell the summary. Polissya Robinsons decide to prepare well for their arrival. While searching for food, the young men suddenly discover the same warehouse of smugglers that was discussed in the beaver hut. There they find the weapon and take it away. For two long weeks, Victor and Miron live in constant tension. They set up camp in an inconspicuous place and begin to wait for the bandits. After a while, the men appear on the island again, they bring a prisoner with them. It turns out to be a Soviet border guard named Savchuk. He followed one of the smugglers for some time, but the criminals figured him out and caught him.
The work written by Yanka Mavr ("Robinsons of Polissya") tells about the young men who were brought up by Soviet reality, real pioneers. They do not care only about themselves, the guys, like real men, are ready to sacrifice their own lives for the sake of a stranger who is in trouble.
The guys decide to help the prisoner at all costs. Miron and Viktor give Savchuk one of the revolvers, and together they disarm and tie up the bandits. Then the same fatecomprehends their accomplices.
A new problem arose for the guys: it is not possible to return through the swamp together. Then Savchuk goes alone for help, while Miron and Viktor remain to guard the bandits. During this night, the criminals did not come up with any tricks, but the guys did not succumb to their tricks. There was even a moment when the life of the young men was in danger, after one of the prisoners burned through the rope tying his hands. However, the guys were able to respond in time and tied up the criminal again. The finale of the work reveals the summary well. Polissya Robinsons finally find hope of returning home.
In the morning Savchuk came with several Red Army soldiers. Words cannot express the joy that the guys experienced when they met with them. And so ended the adventures of two young men on the island, surrounded on all sides by a swamp.
