In the early 90s, a new group appeared in the musical environment - the Komissar group. Several people were involved in its creation. One of them was the poet Valery Sokolov, then known in show business. It is he who will become the author of six songs from the group's first album and the permanent producer of this group. The composer of "Commissars" was Leonid Velichkovsky, previously he acted as a keyboardist in the group "Technology".
Also, Alexey Shchukin was a member, he was then a well-known DJ of the largest Moscow discotheque "Class". The arranger was Vadim Volodin, it was he who worked on the very first album of the group.
Group "Commissioner" - agree, the name is quite brutal. A kind of political worker in a leather jacket immediately appears before his eyes, who achieves everything with his own labor, without relying on outside help. It should be noted that this is the principle of work chosen for themselves and the members of this team. They did not engage in their own PR and did not use cheap tricks in promotion. The guys have an unambiguous policy - people should like them only with their creativity. And they succeeded. The Komissar group managed to make itself known without having a single album to its credit. Concert organizers gladly invited them, knowing that a full house would be guaranteed. And, in principle, at that time there was only one super-song of the Kommissar group - “You will leave”, to this day it is the hallmark of the team.
In the beginning of 1991, the band performed at all festivals, major concerts and charts. In the summer of the same year, the long-awaited recording of the first album appeared, it was called "Our time has come." The team travels all over Russia with solo performances. In September, they are invited to the Star Rain festival, which is broadcast on the RTR channel, and they successfully lead in the first round. And in October they receive the Ovation award.
The period from 1991 to 1993 was a truly stellar year for the Komissar team. The group, whose photo was in all magazines, on calendars and posters, was engaged in endless tours, audio cassettes with their recordings dispersed in huge circulation. They became diploma winners at the Golden Key and Star Rain festivals, laureates at the Sound Track festival. But the next two years were a period of decline and creative crisis. Sales and the number of concerts decreased markedly, and only by the end of 1997 they had the first herald of new success - it was a song called "What are you …". Following her, another song breaks out - "Fleabag", it is she who leads the new album, released in 1998. It was a definite success! The Komissar group again participates in all charts. She received a second wind thanks to the author of these two songs - the poet and composer S. Kuznetsov. And a considerable share of success belonged to the new arranger A. Kirpichnikov, with his help the group received a new sound.
Inspired by the successful results, in 2000 the guys released the next album called “Commissioner-2000”, or “Music of the New Millennium”. This album is one of the top sellers in the MC and CD market. The year 2002 was marked by the conclusion of a contract with the ARS record label and the release of the numbered album Love is Poison. Their first video clip is filmed for the song of the same name, Sergey Bondarchuk becomes the director. For some time, the clip was actively played on central TV channels, but then the PR campaign was terminated, and the group, having paid off the money invested in promotion, terminated the contract with the ARS company. The musicians again go into free swimming.
Since 2003, the team has only been touring, and from time to time they release new songs. Then they begin cooperation with the Monolit company, which turned out to be quite productive. A collection called "Not a Pirate" was released, the first album of MP-3 "Group Kommissar-2010", which included all the most famous songs for the group's twenty years of activity. Then another album was released - "Romance-2010", which includes both old and new songs of the groupCommissar.
