Since 1970, Ryashentsev has been a member of the Writers' Union, and since 1992 he has been a member of the PEN Club (International Society of Writers).

Yuri Ryashentsev: biography

The writer was born on June 16, 1931 in Leningrad. In his childhood memoirs, he writes that he was a very spoiled child who was loved not only by the whole family, but also by friends and neighbors. And in the 7th grade, a literature teacher called Ryashentsev Ilya Ilyich, comparing him with Oblomov, who in childhood was also loved and spoiled by everyone.

When the boy was 3 years old, the familymoved to Moscow. His mother was a knitwear artist. The father was repressed in 1938 and died. The writer's stepfather was arrested in 1949.

Ryashentsev's childhood and youth were spent in Moscow. Here, Khamovniki, the Mandelstam Garden and the Novodevichy Convent became his favorite places. These places had a great influence on the formation of the poet. Later, their beauty will be embodied in poetic lines.

Ryashentsev Yury says that despite the hardships experienced during the war years (hunger, poverty, devastation), he always remembers Khamovniki associated with this period with joy.

Admission to university

After graduating from school, Yuri wanted to enter Moscow State University, but in Soviet times, this road was forever closed for the son and stepson of two repressed. Then the future writer decides to enter the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. Lenin. Yuri Ryashentsev graduated with honors in 1954, having received a philological education.

Yuri Evgenievich entered at the age of 19, as he lost one school year due to evacuation. One remarkable case strongly influenced the choice of the future educational institution. Being already in the last school class, Yuri found himself at the regional volleyball competitions as part of the team of the Pedagogical Institute. After the game was over, the physical education teachers of this institute approached the young man and offered to go to study with them. So Ryashentsev received a pedagogical education.

Study

Fomenko and many others. Ryashentsev believed that at his institute, all the gifts inherent in nature were manifested in a person.

Ryashentsev studied well, as evidenced by the diploma he received with honors. However, the poet himself claims that he was not a diligent student, but simply knew how to pass exams. In his memoirs, he writes that he especially remembers one teacher who managed to make the future writer fall in love with her subject and such little-known authors as D. Venevitinov and A. Delvig. Also, this woman taught additional classes at the university on the Pushkin period.

Student years were marked for Ryashentsev by a passion for bard song. In those years, this genre was very popular among young people - songs were played around fires, on hikes, and on trains. It was then that Yuri Evgenievich, together with V. Krasnovsky and Y. Vizbor, began to compose melodies for songs themselves.

First publications

After graduating from the Pedagogical Institute, Yury Ryashentsev taught for the next seven years, of which 3 years he worked at a school for difficult teenagers.

Only in 1955 Ryashentsev began to publish his first works in the magazine "Youth". The author himself believes that he should have started writing much earlier.

In 1962, Yuri Evgenievich was invited to work in the magazine "Youth", in the department of poetry. The writer worked at this place until the 90s, helping many young people publish for the first timepoets.

To date, six collections of poems by Ryashentsev have been published. The first one was called "The Hearth" and was published in 1967. And the poet's poems at one time were published at least once on the pages of all central Russian and Soviet literary magazines.

The second book of Ryashentsev's poems was published in 1972 and was called The Clock Over the Lane.

Theater and cinema

Yuri Yevgenyevich Ryashentsev considers his debut in the theater to be the play "Poor Lisa", which was staged in 1973 on the stage of the Leningrad Academic Bolshoi Theater. The work was written in collaboration with Mark Rozovsky. Ryashentsev also wrote lyrics for the performance.

In addition, the poet often wrote lyrics for other plays staged at the Leningrad Bolshoi Theater. Among them is such a famous performance as "History of the Horse".

In the 80s, two more poetry collections of the writer were published: "The Iberian Side" and "Leap Year".

Prose works

And the last collection of poems to date, called "Lanfren-Lanfra", was released in 2002. In addition to writing his own works, Ryashentsev is engaged in poetic translations from Armenian, Ukrainian, Buryat and Georgian.

Poet Yuri Ryashentsev in 1995 became the winner of the Arion print edition award, nomination - "The Best Poems of the Year". Three times he was the winner of the All-Union competition for the translation of poetic works. And in 2002 he was awarded the prize. Bulat Okudzhava.

In 2006, the writer celebrated his 75th birthday.

Co-authorship

Some works were co-authored by Yury Ryashentsev. The poet's wife, Galina Polidi, worked with him on the musical "Metro", as well as on the libretto for the operas "The Queen" (D. Tukhmanov), "Albert and Giselle" (A. Zhurbin), "Crime and Punishment" (E. Artemiev). The creative tandem was formed back in 1996 and turned out to be incredibly successful and fruitful. No less successful was the marriage of the creative couple.

As for his profession, Ryashentsev does not consider himself a poet. Usually, Yuri Evgenievich says that he is engaged in literature and writes poetry for theatrical productions and films. In addition, the writer claims that he would not leave the theater, even if he did not need to earn money.

Does the poet belong to the sixties?

Ryashentsev Yuri does not agree with the fact that he is called a poet of the sixties. For the writer, the sixties are primarily associated with fame, while Ryashentsev himself says that he has nothing to do with fame and is not interested in it. The poet never wanted to "wake up famous", he was interested in much more interesting things - the surrounding reality, the speed of life, the beauty of nature.

Nevertheless, Ryashentsev had good relations with almost all the sixties. Among them are A. Voznesensky, and E. Yevtushenko, and R. Rozhdestvensky, and B. Akhmadulina - the writer even managed to play volleyball and tennis with all these people. All of them were good friends for Ryashentsev. However, the writer does not include himself among them. Yuri Evgenievich says that his main desire throughout his life was one thing: not to have bosses over him.

Yuri Ryashentsev: personal life

The personal life of the writer turned out to be quite stormy: he has two divorces behind him. For the first time, Rshentsev married while still at the institute. It was a rash step, the cause of which was a fleeting passion. Therefore, it is not surprising that the union did not last long - after a year and a half the couple divorced.

The next wife of the poet was Olga Batrakova, who worked as an editor at Mosfilm and is a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation. In this marriage, Ryashentsev had two children: daughter Maria (1962) and son Evgeny (1976). However, in the end, the couple still divorced. Galina Polidi, playwright and librettist, became the next choice of the writer. This marriage turned out to be the most successful for Ryashentsev in all respects. In addition to a life partner, he found a wonderful collaborator in the person of his wife.
