A special headquarters of Rosenberg was created, which was engaged in sending valuable art objects to Germany. After the war, the paintings began to be returned, but, unfortunately, the complete collection could not be restored.

A year after the end of the war, the Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts began to function again, but already in the premises of the art school. After 12 years, he occupied the house of the lawyer Petrov, designed by the architect Doroshenko at the end of the 19th century. The building is one of the architectural monuments of Rostov-on-Don. In 2009, a department was opened on Chekhov Lane.

Russian art

The Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts on Pushkinskaya is dedicated to the development of painting in Russia in the period of the 17th - early 20th centuries. All stages are presented in a logical sequence, so that visitors can get a holistic view of the development of the fine arts.

The dagger was inserted into an exquisitely decorated bone frame, and sometimes disguised as a fan.
