Horror "Whisper" was the first feature film in the career of director Stuart Handler. His debut project did not gain worldwide popularity, but fans of mystical and psychological horror films, no doubt, will like the film "Whisper". Actors Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies starred in the film.
Storyline
Max was recently released from prison. He was determined to give up crime forever and start over with his fiancee Roxanne. Max has always wanted to open his own restaurant, but no bank gives a loan to an ex-con. In order to get the funds to fulfill his dream, Max agrees to take part in the kidnapping of the son of a very rich political woman, along with several other criminals. He is sure that this will be his last crime. Soon, Max will realize to his horror that the child they kidnapped is a real demon who likes to play with human lives.
Cast
In early summer 2007, the casting of the film "Whisper" was completed. Actors and roles were distributed,and filming began. The role of Max went to Josh Holloway, known to film fans for his small roles in the films "Sabotage", "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol", "Sabretooth". The first horror movie where Holloway starred was Whisper. Actors Joel Edgerton and Michael Rooker played Vince and Sidney, the criminals who orchestrated the kidnapping. Edgerson previously appeared in several episodes of Star Wars, played a small role in the film "Trump Aces". Michael Rooker has worked on many projects, the most famous of which are "Lie Detector" and "The Power of Fear".
The role of Roxanne, Max's fiancée, went to Sarah Wayne Callies, who had previously starred mainly in television series.
