Annual music festival "Kazantip" gathers more and more participants every year. Which is not surprising, because this is a bright and fascinating spectacle. Who at least once heard about it, probably looked for information about where the Kazantip passes. By tradition, this bright music and dance event opens in the Crimea, on one of the beaches of Evpatoria.

And it all started in 1993, when a windsurfing competition was held at Cape Kazantip. The participants of the competitions decided to “break away” from sports everyday life and staged the first bright musical show. Later, in 1995, an electronic music festival was held near the same place. Athletes and musicians also took part in it. Thus, this festival brought together music, sports and recreation. Cape Kazantip, which gave its name to the festival, is located in the north of the Crimean peninsula and looks like a cauldron. The loud name of the festival attracted the attention of not only athletes and local musicians, but also representatives of informal movements. Every year they find out where the Kazantip takes place and come to plunge into a bright noisy show that lasts a month and a half. The dates of its holding are unchanged - from July 15 to August 30. But where does it go? The Kazantip festival is a show on the beach near the village of Popovka, located in the suburbs of Evpatoria. This is one of the most picturesque and cozy corners of Crimea, a favorite vacation spot for local youth.

Where the Kazantip passes, a calm measured life explodes with a bright extravaganza. This is a breathtaking show. People who love freedom, the sea and the sun, life and communication gather here. People come here to look at others, and to show themselves. The noise of the surf is drowned out for all 24 hours a day by a variety of music. Everyone is welcome here who has a pass ticket in his hands - a yellow suitcase. It has already happened that this particular attribute has become a symbol of a place called "Kazantip".

Throughout the entire beach strip near Popovka there are about a hundred bars, more than ten dance floors, attractions, Internet cafes, sports grounds, restaurants and cafes. In 2007, a kind of flyover and an unusual building called "Mars" were built on the same beach, where not everyone can get, but only by special invitation. Over timefashion hangout has grown into something more. The current Kazantip-2013, where the annual festival of music of all directions takes place, is the Republic of Freedom. And its participants consider themselves part of it. But the life of the republic lasts only 1.5 months a year.

Many of the participants absolutely do not care where Kazantip takes place, they gather every year in Evpatoria, Feodosia, Kerch in mid-July and from there go to the very epicenter of musical events. Hundreds of DJs, among which there are guests from the capital and abroad, are happy to demonstrate their creativity to thousands of music fans. Here they relax, forget about everyday problems, rejoice and become liberated.
