Many winners of music competitions are forgotten the next day. Mikhail Rudakov is not one of them. His performance of the song "Hang-glider" won the hearts of Ukrainian and Russian viewers. Everyone still remembers an unusual man with a clear voice, although he refused to participate in the final of the X Factor show.

What the singer tells about his childhood

The biography of people like Mikhail Rudakov is almost always shrouded in mystery. It is only known that he has a sister who has long settled in Moscow. Nowhere did he mention his school years and the period of study at the institute. He graduated and became a financier. He chose a profession because of the words of his parents that the most important thing in life is money.

It was material we alth that was Michael's goal immediately after graduation from the institute. He really did not want to upset his parents, because they wished him a better life. Although in fact, all his childhood, he secretly dreamed of singing. He once expressed this desire at home, but he was not supported, because it is difficult to earn a lot by singing.

After the economic institute, Mikhail Rudakov started working in a bank and quickly made a career. He reached the position of regional manager of a credit organization in Donetsk. Almost the whole city knew him, because in his service he needed to communicate with big businessmen and business leaders.

All life has turned into making money. At first, Mikhail was able to buy himself a one-room apartment, later he changed it to a three-room apartment in the city center. He made a renovation, bought a foreign car and realized that he had become a real slave of money. By that time he was already married. His colleagues recall that he was always dressed in a suit, which made him stand out even among the banking elite. Other employees in the organization could afford to wear sweatshirts and jeans to work.

Country life

As Mikhail Rudakov recalls, his personal life changed his worldview. He reached a fairly high position in the world of finance, but at the same time he practically did not see his wife Tatyana. The appearance of his son Ivan turned the singer's whole life upside down. He realized that material we alth is not the most important thing. Just at that moment, the economic crisis began to rage in the country, which Mikhail Rudakov took as a sign that it was time to radically change life.

He sold everything he had and bought a hectare of land in the village. On this site there was a rickety house, which the singer began to repair and rebuild on his own. At this turning point, he had many questions. Organizing life in the village was not easy. He dug a well, wired electricity and made plumbing. He also bought goats, chickens, geese and bees. With his own hands in the house, Mikhail Rudakov built furniture and made repairs.

His wife was happy about the changes in her life, now she could devote herself to home and son. She was engaged in gardening and raising a child. They began to spend a lot of time with their husband. This brought them absolute happiness and mutual understanding.

Appearing on The X Factor

When Mikhail Rudakov (photo available in the article) arranged his life in the village, he remembered his old dream. He was very often told that he had talent, and envied his ear for music. In the years of his youth, there were not so many competitions, so when Mikhail heard about the X-factor show, he decided to try his hand. The singer did not hope that he would become one of the best. When the jury members spoke words of approval, Mikhail could not believe his luck.

In a TV commercial, he showed his life in the countryside. It included footage of how Mikhail mowed the grass, washed his hair with raw eggs and ran. What they saw made an ambiguous impression on the jury and the audience. Nevertheless, Mikhail's talent allowed him to become one of the ten contenders for the $250,000 prize.

Why Mikhail refused further participation

For further participation in the competition, it was necessary to live for almost two and a half months in Kyiv in a reality studio. Mikhail refused to take part in the show, as he did not want tolive in the city. Moreover, at home he had to prepare firewood, run bees and sell goats. It was also necessary to help his wife with the milking of goats, which at that time were quite numerous on Mikhail's farm. Even a solid win did not attract him, because at that time his dreams were different. He planned to grow a forest on part of his plot, make a pond for geese and plant flowers in the clearing.

Periodically after the competition Mikhail worked as an animator in the nearest town. To get to the children's party (his workplace), he had to walk to the stop on foot through the forest. It took more than three hours to travel only one way, while the salary of the animator was ten times less than what he received in the bank.

What the singer and farmer is doing now is unknown, it has only recently become clear that he moved with his family to Moscow. Today, his son Ivan is already eight years old, and his wife Tatyana still accompanies her lover and helps in all endeavors. In 2015, he managed to record his first author's song "Frigate", the music for which was composed by his friend, and the words were invented by Mikhail himself.
