Have you heard a funny song that sings "…I'm a little horse, and I'm having a hard time…"? Well, according to the plot, is she still delivering cocaine in a cart? She should be familiar to many, since in the 2000s she could be heard on any Russian radio. And he wrote a song with a sad overtones rock rebel Nike Borzov, who is a rather outstanding personality, however, like all his work. By the way, he is so "ancient" that he began his career back in the days of the "scoop".
Biography
The countdown of the life of Borzov Naik Vladimirovich began on May 23, 1972, in the city of Vidnoye (Moscow Region). Mother worked in a secret research institute, so the family received an apartment from this organization. But dad was a creative person - a musician, and it was thanks to him that Nike learned from the cradle what real rock and roll is.
Father often listened to such"Dinosaurs of rock", like "The Beatles" and "Led Zeppelin", and the boy silently shook his mustache (which has not yet grown). In the life of Nike Borzov, music was of great importance from childhood, and dad could not get enough of it and supported his offspring in every possible way.
The musician got wonderful parents, with whom he had practically no conflict situations. They always respected their son as a person, so when Nike, as a teenager, did not appear at home for several days, they sounded the alarm, arranging a whole search event. After this incident, his parents concluded an agreement with him that no matter what he did and wherever he was, he should only live at home.
Pseudonym Origin Theory
There is an opinion that at birth, the future rock star received a completely normal name Nikolai and a very funny Ukrainian surname - Barashko. And the pseudonym Nike was created by crossing the names of Mike Naumenko and Nick Rock and Roll. The surname Borzov was chosen by the musician himself, entering it in his passport. However, Nike assures everyone that the name is quite real, he received it from hippie parents. And he took the name Nikolai when his grandmother christened him in the Orthodox Church.
First musical experience
After listening to Nike's Unknown Pleasures album by Joy Division, he had the crazy idea to create something like this. Therefore, in 1984, when Borzov was only 14, he assembled the Infection punk band, which existed for nine years. During this time, the guys recorded only two studio albums:
- "Masturbation" - 1990year.
- "Belly button hole" - 1992.
Besides this, Nike Borzov could be seen in some other projects - these are Platonic Prostitution, Died, Boofeet, Special Nurses, Norman Bates Fan Club and others. In addition, he became famous for his work with a popular team with a very obscene name "forget it." By the way, many still consider him a permanent resident of the group.
Debt to the motherland and change of genre
Like all the guys, Nike Borzov was overtaken by military service, but he says that she taught him only to assemble and disassemble small arms and nothing more. Even the future rock star was not allowed to shoot. Like this!
However, repaying his debt to his homeland, the singer thought a lot about choosing a new suitable style of music and wrote the lyrics to the song "Horse". Nike Borzov decided to abandon punk, preferring psychedelic rock, which is more commercial in our country. "Infection" was destroyed, and a solo career as a musician began. However, on the 10th anniversary of the former group, the musician single-handedly recorded the last album, Take Your Bitch by the Hands, playing each of the instruments on his own. By the way, the original "Horse" appeared there.
Solo career
It was 92, which was the beginning of a new milestone in the development of creativity. Almost immediately, the first album "Immersion" was released, and the second - "Closed" was released already in 1994.
In 1997, one of the radio stations received a cheerful and at the same time sad composition "Horse", which drew attention to the songsNike Borzov. In it, the vocalist speaks very positively about the fact that the unfortunate animal carries cocaine and knows that he does not have long to live.
Accusations fell on the musician that he allegedly promotes this drug, although in reality it was just an analogy. According to Nike, he is not personally familiar with cocaine, but the word fit perfectly into the rhyme, bringing a special meaning to the song. In fact, it tells about the fact that a person day by day pulls on himself his problems, sorrows and happiness.
Some radio stations have banned their DJs from broadcasting "Horse". The program director of Nashe Radio also did not allow this song to be aired, but Dmitry Dibrov had the opposite opinion on this matter. In the same year, Borzov's third solo album, "Puzzle", was released.
In 2000, Nike gave the world a new album "Superman", the songs from which brought the artist the coveted popularity. Clips for the songs "Three Words" and "Riding a Star" were released on TV, and the compositions themselves sounded on the waves of the capital's radio stations. The musician received the status of a domestic rock star, and this was the highest award for the work done. Nike Borzov's song "Riding a Star" is special, if only because the recording contains the voice of the legendary Che.
Recognition
According to the most significant print publications in Russia, including the Izvestia newspaper and the OM magazine, Nike Borzov became the best performer of 2001. Radio Maximum was with them all the wayin solidarity.
In 2001, Roman Kachanov's sensational film "Down House" was released, in which Nike's song "Quarrel" sounded. And the video for this composition was filmed by Fyodor Bondarchuk himself, and in the film itself, by the way, he played a key role.
In general, in the late 90s and early 2000s, Nike Borzov was a significant figure in the world of domestic indie rock. This is a bright representative of Russian alternative music, and someone called him "our Pete Doherty", probably for the lyrics of "Infection". And the song "Three Words" became the reason for a long discussion in the State Duma, but Borzov (confirming his last name) invited the speaker to his own concert. Then everything calmed down, and the song was given the go-ahead.
The composition "She's the only one", filled with love experiences, quickly won a place in the hearts of fans, becoming one of the best hits of 2002. The video was directed by Gosha Taidze, and the video was often played on MTV.
Acting
Yuri Grymov staged Nirvana in 2003, in which Nike Borzov played the great musician Kurt Cobain. It was a real sensation for Moscow theatergoers and diversified the cultural life of the capital. The performance gathered full houses, and the excitement did not subside for a whole year!
Our days
In recent years, Borzov has released albums: "From the Inside" (2010) and "Everywhere and Nowhere" (2014). There are a lot of songs and videos released, and young guys diligently learn the chords of Nike Borzov and sing his best hits: "She's Alone", "Riding a Star" and "Horse".

Now Nike Borzov is preparing to give a concert together with Artem Kucher in Sochi, which will be held on September 15th. It starts at 15:00 and admission is absolutely free. This is due to the fact that the concert is dedicated to the anniversary of the Imeretinsky Hotel. The event promises to be very fun, especially since there will be a fair of craftsmen, as well as a large selection of entertainment for kids. In addition, they promise a delicious treat from an eminent chef.
Personal
Nike Vladimirovich was once married to singer Ruslana Eremeeva (Borzovaya), whom he produced for some time. She has her own vocal school.
In the marriage between Nike and Ruslana, a girl with a beautiful name Victoria was born. For some reason, family life did not work out, and the couple divorced, which does not prevent the musician from being a good dad. According to rumors, the musician's daughter is a rather creative girl - she sings, plays the piano and writes her own compositions. Dad is very proud of her and supports her in every possible way.
Nike Borzov collects all sorts of articles about himself in order to know what people “invent” about him. Spread about his personal life, like any normal person, the musician does not like. However, the flip side of popularity is that people constantly want to know what their idol is doing, where he goes and who he meets. Therefore, some information still leaks.
