Ivan Pereverzev is a famous domestic theater and film actor. In 1952 he was awarded the Stalin Prize, and in 1975 he became the People's Artist of the USSR. One of his most memorable roles is Admiral Ushakov in the 1953 film of the same name. After the appearance of this film on the screens, one of the ships of the Azov Shipping Company was even named after the actor.

Early years

Ivan Pereverzev was born in 1914 in the small village of Kuzminki in the Orel region. He grew up in a peasant family, in which everyone was far from the world of art.
