The Novokuznetsk Drama Theater has been in existence for more than 80 years. His repertoire is varied. It includes performances for both adults and children. Wonderful artists work in the theater.

History

Drama theater (Novokuznetsk), the photo of which is presented in this article, was founded in the 30s of the twentieth century. It was a difficult pre-war time. The official opening date of the theater is November 6, 1933. A building was specially built for him. The repertoire of that time consisted of immortal works. During the Second World War, the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater hosted troupes from other cities of Russia, as well as from Ukraine.

In 1963 a new building was built for the theatre. It was decorated with bas-reliefs, colonnade, paintings, panels. The hall is designed for 600 seats. The Novokuznetsk Drama Theater is located in this building to this day.

The twenty-first century began for the theater with a change in leadership. S. Boldyrev became the chief director. Thanks to him, the theater began to search for something new and experiment. Classical performances were staged in a new reading. "Hamlet" staged by the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater has become a scandalous project.

Since 2006By 2010, the building was closed for renovation. It was his second birth. Today the theater is equipped with the most modern technology. More interesting performances appeared in the repertoire. Tours have resumed. The theater takes an active part in festivals and receives awards. The repertoire has become more varied and interesting. Various projects are being implemented. The theater is growing rapidly. The literary part of the theater is directed by Galina Ganeeva.

Rules for visiting the theater

The Novokuznetsk Drama Theater offers its viewers the following rules to follow when attending performances:

• Each spectator must have a ticket, except for children under the age of three.
• When purchasing a ticket for a child, you need to pay attentionon the age limits, which are indicated on the poster for each performance.
• It is forbidden to enter the auditorium with drinks, food and large bags.
• Purchased tickets can be returned to the theater or exchanged only in case of cancellation of the performance or its transfer to another day.
• Binoculars available for rent in the cloakroom.
• It is strictly forbidden to make video and photography during the performance.
• After the third bell has rung, it is forbidden to enter the amphitheater and stalls.
• Late viewers are accommodated in free chairs on the balconies, and only during the intermission will be able to transfer to their seats so as not to disturb other viewers.
• Mobile phones must be turned off during the performance.
• Smoking is prohibited in the theatre, as well as on the territory adjacent to it.
• If an exchange or return of a ticket is being made, then this procedure must be completed before the day on which the visit to the theater was to take place.
