Svetlana Sheptukha - the first master chef of Ukraine

The Master Chef show started in Ukraine in 2011. It was attended by amateur chefs from all over the country. They showed their skill in preparing gourmet dishes with a competitive moment. The winner of the first season was Svetlana Sheptukha. The quiet and modest girl showed herself on the show as an easy-to-learn and non-conflict personality.

Svetlana Sheptukha: biography

The girl was born and raised in Donetsk in a miner's family. Since childhood, she loved to watch how her mother and grandmother cook. When dad left for work, he and mom anxiously waited for him from the shift. The profession of a miner is physically difficult and dangerous. Therefore, every time he returned from work, peace and happiness reigned in the family.

The girl recalls that when there were collapses in the mine, she and her mother experienced terrible hours of waiting and anxiety. After graduating from school, Svetlana Sheptukha entered the Institute of Trade and Economics. There she received the profession of an accountant and a PC operator.

The girl married a miner early. She got a job as an accountant. Cooking has become her hobby. She read a lot of literature on this topic and on holidays tried to reproduce new recipes in life. Oftenshe could not try her hand at cooking exotic dishes, because the products used in such recipes were expensive, and the family lived modestly.

Participation in the casting

Svetlana admits that she sent the application for participation in the show secretly from everyone. She had long dreamed of taking part in the filming on the STB channel. At first, she did not believe that she would even be invited for an interview. When the girl received a call from Kyiv, she had to confess her step to her husband and relatives.

Svetlana Sheptukha agreed to go to the capital with her husband, hoping that they would see the city. There was no hope of passing to the next round of the casting. But the judges liked her dish and she moved on.

Then the girl went into the top twenty, she was invited to film in a television show. Arriving in Kyiv and settling in a recreation center outside the city, Sveta estimated her strength very low compared to other participants.

The road to victory was very difficult. It was difficult for the girl to get used to the capital life and the filming schedule. The participants practically did not have time to rest. Filming started at 8 am and ended after 10 pm.

On rare weekends, Svetlana slept for half a day, and the rest of the time she learned new recipes. She was on her way to victory. At first, the girl admits that she did not start friendships with anyone. She thought she would leave early in the project and didn't want to get attached to people.

When she got into the top ten, self-confidenceadded. Svetlana became friends with Anya. The girls subsequently advanced to the final. Unfortunately, Whisperer admits that her friend suffered a painful loss and stopped communicating with her.

The hard way of competition

The first master chef shared that the most difficult thing on the project was to withstand the moral "storm" from the participants and the judge. Due to her calm nature, it was very difficult for Svetlana to perceive intrigues and scandals normally. She was in the top twenty with a gray mouse.

By the end of the show, the girl changed not only outwardly, but also strengthened her character. She has come a long way to victory and is now confident that she can work in the kitchen of any restaurant with the most extreme conditions.

All this time she was supported by the closest person - her husband Vladimir. He is one of the few who believed in her strength and knew for sure that the victory would go to his wife. The judges also respected her talent and desire to learn something new.

Life after the project

After receiving the title of "master chef" Svetlana decided to completely change her life. She quit her job to be on the show. Won 500 thousand UAH. and a trip to study in Paris, a simple girl Svetlana Sheptukha. After the project, she went there, having met the New Year at home with her husband.

This cooking school is one of the best in the world. Whisperer went to France for 3 months. Here she mastered many new recipes and cooking techniques. She received not only new knowledge, but also the confidence that the nexther life will be connected with cooking.

After her arrival, Svetlana Sheptuha lived all summer in the Crimea and worked as a cook. There she mastered many recipes for fish dishes. The girl entered the university and is receiving a second education, which is associated with the technical nuances of organizing a restaurant business.

Over time, Svetlana accepted the invitation of Nikolai Tishchenko (project judge) and moved to work as a chef in his restaurant. Then came the long-awaited event - in 2015, the girl became the mother of a wonderful girl, Alice. A few months after the birth of her daughter, Svetlana Sheptukha went to work as a chef in another large restaurant in Kyiv. After the project, she is in demand as a chef in any restaurant in the country.

Now she successfully combines motherhood and career. The girl and her husband love to travel to different countries. There she goes to small restaurants and studies traditional dishes. Moreover, she gives preference not to places for tourists, but to establishments where the local population goes.
