The time of existence of Ancient Egypt is one of the most memorable periods in the history of mankind. This is a time spanning thousands of years and several cultural milestones. The costumes and set designs were based on careful research of real material from ancient Egyptian times.
"Egypt" (2005, 8, 3 IMDb) is a six-episode BBC television series featuring exploration of ancient Egypt and discoveries made by famous archaeologists from the 18th to early 20th centuries.
Series about Cleopatra
Cleopatra VII was the last independent Egyptian ruler before the state fell under Roman rule. She became famous for her beauty and love affair with the Roman generals Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
"Cleopatra" 1983 is an eight-episode historical drama series that tells the story of the reign of the Ptolemaic pharaohs from the death of Alexander the Great to the death of Egypt's most famous queen. Main cast: Michelle Newell, Graham Crowden, Robert Hardy, Sue Holderness andothers.
