The time of existence of Ancient Egypt is one of the most memorable periods in the history of mankind. This is a time spanning thousands of years and several cultural milestones. "Egypt" (2005, 8, 3 IMDb) is a six-episode BBC television series featuring exploration of ancient Egypt and discoveries made by famous archaeologists from the 18th to early 20th centuries.

Cleopatra VII was the last independent Egyptian ruler before the state fell under Roman rule. She became famous for her beauty and love affair with the Roman generals Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
