He was born on November 22, 1984 in the town of Noyabrsk, located on the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The future artist was brought up in a respected and intelligent family. Nikita's mother, Svetlana Nikolaevna, has been working as a primary school teacher for many years. And his father, Viktor Anatolyevich, has a musical education. In 1991, the family moved to the capital of Adygea - Maykop. There the boy went to first grade. Soon Nikita was enrolled in a music school. For several years he studied piano. He also liked to visit the theater studio, opened at the Maikop School of Arts. In his free time, the boy went in for sports: karate, football and swimming.
Early creativity
In 1995, Nikita took part in the international vocal competition "Golden Disc",held in Barnaul. The professional jury highly appreciated Pozdnyakov's vocal abilities, as well as his ability to stay on stage. Our hero deservedly received the Grand Prix. In the same year, a talented boy "lit up" in the popular program "Morning Star".
Students
In 1998, the Pozdnyakovs moved again. This time to Moscow. The father and mother were sure that their sons would have more opportunities for creative realization in the capital. Nikita easily entered the ORT technology school. He got into a group with in-depth study of the English language.
Between 2002 and 2007 the guy received his higher education at the University of the Humanities. Nikita Pozdnyakov chose the Faculty of Philosophy.
Cooperation with brother
From 2000 to 2004 our hero participated in various competitions and projects. He managed to try himself not only as a singer, but also as an arranger. For example, Nikita helped Lolita Milyavskaya in recording her album Format.
In 2005, the Pozdnyakov brothers created their first joint project - the group Lance a Lot. A couple of months later, the band released their debut album called "Shards of the Universe".
Lance a Lot has existed for several years. During this time, the guys have found their army of fans. In 2009, Nikita Pozdnyakov and his brother Alexander presented their new project to the public - the Black Rocks group. If earlier they preferred to perform as a duet, now a quartet has been created. The brothers invited bass player Timur Ilyasov and drummer Alexei Savelyev. Initially, the team didcover versions of foreign hits (in rock and pop styles). And in 2010, the guys started preparing the author's musical material. Several times a month they gave concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In October 2012, the Black Rocks recorded an English-language disc - I'd Rather Be Alone. She was a success with the audience. The band's second album was released only in 2015. Its name is also in English - Rockers.
Other projects
Own group, work in the theater - Nikita Pozdnyakov decided not to stop there. "Voice" is a TV project in which he took part. In 2012, our hero and his brother Sasha went to the casting announced by Channel One. At the blind audition, the guy performed the song Unchain my heart from Joe Cocker's repertoire. Pelageya turned to him. As a result, she became Nikita's mentor. A native of Noyabrsk reached the 3rd round.
In May 2015, Nikita Pozdnyakov and his brother went to Vienna for the Eurovision Song Contest. They were part of the support group for the singer Polina Gagarina.
