One of the most famous and controversial actresses of the old Soviet cinema was Tatyana Peltzer. Her biography is interesting exactly as much as her work in a variety of paintings. In addition to talent, she had a great deal of originality.
Peltzer could easily “give” directors and directors a strong Russian obscenity. However, almost everyone bowed to the talent of the actress, and therefore they did not stop inviting her to play roles in films.
Biography of Tatyana Peltzer
She was born in Moscow almost at the very beginning of the twentieth century - in 1904. Tatyana Peltzer's mother was Jewish. Her father, Ivan Romanovich, is known as a famous Russian actor. However, in fact, he is a purebred German. His birth name was Johann Robertovich.
As a matter of fact, actress Tatyana Peltzer decided to follow the path of her father as a child. He was an authority for her, told her a lot about his profession. That is why the girl from an early age dreamed of becoming an actress.
Ivan Romanovich was a production director in onefrom Moscow theatres. It was there that Peltzer played her first role, and not just anywhere, but in the serious play “Kamo Gryadeshi”. Then it was an ordinary attempt, caused by curiosity. And only after that Peltzer began to deal with this matter more seriously. So, for her role in the production of Turgenev's novel "The Noble Nest", she has already received a fee - like a real actress.
The biography of Tatyana Peltzer is very interesting. After all, she played her first roles at the age of 9-11 years. So, she managed to conquer the audience in another performance - Anna Karenina. It is curious that at this age she was able to be convincing in the role of a boy.
Peltzer started her career as a professional actress at the age of 16. It was then, in 1920, that she became part of a traveling theater troupe. After that, for three years she changed many theaters in various cities.
In 1923, she managed to get into the Mossovet Theater. Very soon, however, as the biography of Tatyana Peltzer tells us, she was fired - for incompetence. And although for some time the girl had to work as an ordinary typist, she did not stop dreaming of becoming an actress.
When she was 23, she married a German named Hans Tabler. At that time, he was quite well-known in certain circles as a philosopher and an adherent of communist ideology. Three years later, the couple moved to the very heart of Germany - Berlin. There they lived well and comfortably. The famous German director Piscator, having learned that Peltzer had previously played in the theater, offered her a role in one of his productions. However, despite her obvious luck, a well-established life and German origin, Tatyana felt like a stranger there. She decided to divorce her husband and returned back to Russia.
After that, she again changed many jobs. And only in 1940, according to the biography of Tatyana Peltzer, she became an actress at the Theater of Miniatures in Moscow. It was there that her talent was noticed. She played her first role already in 1944 (the film "The Wedding"). Despite the fact that her youth had already passed, she became a very popular actress and continued acting until the age of 85, having been awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR.
Tatyana Peltzer died in 1992.
