Volodya was born in Moscow on January 25, 1938. He grew up as a calm and understanding child. His father - Semyon Vysotsky - served as a signalman,He went through WWII and had the rank of colonel. After the war, they moved to live in a town near Berlin, and later the mother brought the boy back to Moscow. After graduating from school, Volodya wanted to get an education in mechanics at MISI. He even went there. But the theater attracted him more, therefore, having abandoned the first place of study, he devoted himself to the Moscow Art Theater.
The first place of his work was the Moscow Theater. Pushkin, where the novice actor, unfortunately, did not take root. But already in 1964, Vysotsky's biography turns in such a way that he is taken to the troupe of the Taganka Theater. This place became his favorite work, where he played more than two dozen roles.
