The actor Nikolai Kirichenko received his graduation diploma in 1969. Since the late 1980s, Nikolai Kirichenko has been engaged in pedagogical work. He taught at the State Academy of Arts in Minsk. He had the title of professor. On the basis of the academy, he led courses for film and drama theater actors, revealing to them the secrets of his skill.

For many years he was little known for film work, mostly appearing in episodes. Recognition came to the actor only in the late 1990s, when he played Istvan Bartosz in the detective series Kamenskaya. After that, Nikolai Kirichenko's photo began to appear regularly in film magazines.

In the 2000s, he acted a lot. These were both full-length films and television series. For example, in 2001played Beria in the military drama of Mikhail Ptashuk "In August 44th …". In 2009, he played the role of Friedman in the serial historical drama by Valery Uskov and Vladimir Krasnopolsky "Wolf Messing: Seeing Through the Ages".

In August 2018, Kirichenko passed away. Officially, the cause of death has not been named. However, it is known that in recent years he was seriously ill. The actor was 72 years old.
