Against the backdrop of dimensionless Russian "soapy" epics like "Carmelita" or "Wedding Ring", compact, sincere "Enchanted Plot", not bloated for hundreds of episodes, looks almost in one breath.

It is a breath of fresh air that I want to christen what is happening on the screen. Director Alexander Baranov, who shot the family epic "Gromovs" with the continuation of "House of Gromovs", decided to stage a sequel to "Plot", which gathered a huge audience on TV. People were touched by the sincerity that showed through in the unhurried narration about the village of Anisovka. Maybe part of the success should be attributed to the super popularity of Sergei Bezrukov, who played the main role of the district police officer Kravtsov? The director, apparently, decided to test his idea for strength, and the series "Enchanted Plot" was filmed already without the character of Bezrukov. True, all the other types that we remember and love, smoothly “moved” to the continuation.

When each bast is in a line

Why is the "Enchanted Lot" named, and what kind of magician worked here? It turns out that in order to raise morale (and along the way, to get rid ofbad addiction to a glass of some villagers) a sort of visiting "Kashpirovsky" performed by Leonid Yarmolnik arrived in Anisovka. After the session, everything in the village went on a different track, and who is to blame (whether the psychic, or the “natives themselves”), the director answers us throughout the whole action. With all the deepest respect for the undoubtedly charismatic figure of Yarmolnik and his talent, The Enchanted Plot turned out to be not his format. He did not really fit into the friendly "village team". The rest of the actors "come off" one hundred percent! This is Andrey Krasko, who left this world untimely, as always bright and colorful. This is Alexander Mokhov, who leads his line unobtrusively, but always follows the right course in interpreting the role. This is the truly "folk" Nina Ruslanova. And rustic, naive, but such a cute Vadik performed by Pavel Derevyanko. Roman Madyanov, Yulia Rutberg put their “bast into the line”. In a word, the ensemble, already cemented in Uchastka, once again proved its viability.

Everything will grind

The atmosphere of the hinterland is very well conveyed, which, despite the cataclysms, the endless howl of the media about the coming end of the world, battles for power at the top, lives on and does not blow in the mustache. No psychotherapists are needed, because the “enchanted plot” of Anisovka is the very reserved niche where the truly Russian soul and character live. Baranov was right, removing in the sequel the “criminal” component that has already become unnecessary in the person of a district police officer who visits the village for a short time. There are so many detective crafts on our screens. Bewitchedplot” is a film that reveals the essence of life itself in all its manifestations: in bright sadness, in stormy joy, in unadorned simple life, in the extraordinary beauty of landscapes, where, like centuries ago, birch trees, not disfigured by civilization, rustle and sing nightingales. And even if they threaten to demolish the village, wipe it off the face of the earth, “The Enchanted Plot” gives hope that everything will be crushed, everything will be fine, otherwise why live? Another temporary inhabitant will leave, but the village will remain.
