Biography

Dmitry Spirin is a musician who was born in Moscow on February 22, 1975. He graduated from school No. 665. Rock began to interest him at the age of 12, and at 14 he began to visit the Krasny Khimik recreation center in order to learn how to play the bass guitar. Working as a loader on tour of the Cleopatra pop group allowed Dmitry to buy his own first instrument. And acquaintance with the participants of Kutuzovsky Prospekt allowed him to take the place of a bass player in an aspiring rock band. The beginning of a serious career as a musician was marked by a concert by the Four Cockroaches group, held at Moscow School No. 56 at the graduation party on June 22, 1991. At the moment (since 1995) Dmitry Spirin is the vocalist and author of many hits by the Cockroaches! group:

1999 was marked by the creation of the rock group "Adventures of Electronics". The founding fathers are Dmitry Spirin and Konstantin Savelskikh. However, the musician did not stay in it for long - after 6 years he leaves its composition. Despite this fact, Dmitry continues to maintain friendly relations with all members of the group and in 2008 writes the song “Childhood Leaves” for them, which, by the way, is the only own song of the Adventures of Electronics repertoire. In 2004, street punk band Zuname was looking for a guitarist. The search was long enough, many applicants did not meet the criteria. But it was Dmitry Spirin, with his dedication, who was able to interest the rest of the participants and became the guitarist of Zuname.

Television

On TV, our hero had no special debuts. Of the programs with his participation, one can single out only the weekly thrash program "Cultivator" by Vladimir Epifantsev, where he was one of the actors (1999), and the Earth-Air project, where he acted as an expert on Ultra radio (2002).

Radio

The most shocking was the participation of Dmitry Spirin as the host of a weekly night talk show on Our Radio (2000). As the hero himself recalls, he tried to discuss the most burning topics that would force listeners to call on the radio. Moreover, he made the program so that people not only expressed their opinion, but even argued with it. So he turned all his angerlisteners to himself, expressing not even the most correct position, made people think and reason sensibly.

Tours in Japan in 2002 prompted Dmitry Spirin to the idea of holding rock discos. His first pseudonym was DJ Ramone, under which he made attempts to create such an event. And now Rock 'n' Roll Radio Disco Party is held regularly (since 2006). Dmitry Spirin himself considers himself a "fake" DJ. He does not mix music, unlike DJs, in techno, jungle, house and other styles. His whole idea was to create a set for the radio station of his dreams and share it with others.

Nickname

But Dmitry acquired his pseudonym "Sid" at the age of fifteen, being a member of the Kutuzovsky Prospekt group. As the musician himself recalls, he was not even asked if he liked his nickname. They just wanted it to be “like them”, stage names, style. And the nickname has stuck ever since. Curiosities happen to everyone, and Dmitry Spirin is no exception. In 2011, he sang a duet with Mikhail Boyarsky, who for some reason could not correctly present his companion. Steve Dimka-Cockroach - this is how Dmitry was introduced to the public.
